Life presents lessons and messages seemingly everywhere I turn. Whether it’s a belly laugh in the Costco parking lot at the craziness we subject ourselves to, or a solemn reminder like the loss of another hockey player to suicide, my brain never shuts off to the learning opportunity.
Honing my voice as a writer has taught me a lot about being myself and not trying to fit someone else’s mold or their expectations. It’s so easy to compare yourself to others in every aspect of life, but I find with my ‘art’ that
I offer a unique style, interesting perspectives and messaging tailored to your own voice. If you’re looking for an alternative to how others present their content, I may just be able to help with your:
- social media messaging
- content development
What clients are saying:
“Yours is the most incredible piece of content I’ve read in a short while. I love it. “ ~AC
“When you are at your best, your writing is clear, inspiring — a call to action and to living as your best and fullest self. And it always has a giggle running through it!” ~SM
“Awwwwww… that’s a beautiful story. I can’t tell if the chills I just got are from the blog or if I just need to turn up the heat lol. Really really really really really love it Shandra!!!!!” ~CH (client I wrote weekly blogs for, for 2+ years)
Conversations can be challenging. Communicating so your message is heard can be daunting. Having a facilitator to engage in productive and inclusive conversation is sometimes necessary and almost always beneficial.
The art of facilitation encompasses gathering information, ensuring topics don’t get lost in the mix, knowing how to reign it all in, all while engaging in meaningful conversation. It can be structured and led or it can revolve around the people in the room having the opportunity to express themselves in ways they might not otherwise be able to.
(Individual or Group)
I used to hesitate to tell people I’m a coach because there are so many misconstrued ideas and explanations for what we do. As your coach, my ‘job’ is to assist you in discovering your own answers, drawing them out and solidifying them with you in a format that sets you up for personal or business growth, change, and success.
When you buy into yourself, that’s when the trigger for change takes place.
It is my number one objective to help you or your organization reach your purpose, vision, and goals. Together, we create a strategic plan that is a powerful way for you to gain clarity through a tailored process including interaction and accountability.
A transformational leader intentionally engages people to think and act in such a way that it makes a positive difference in their lives and in the lives of others. ~ John C. Maxwell
Working in a group setting, having the entire group’s input in thinking magnifies the richness of the discussions and results in developing solutions that are above and beyond what any individual can create. Facilitating your group(s) offer a combination of masterminding, peer brainstorming, education, accountability and support in a group setting to sharpen your business and personal skills. By bringing fresh ideas and a different perspective, masterminds can help you achieve success.
Certified through the John Maxwell Team, my love for the process is shared and supported worldwide. Having collaborative and supportive, like-minded teammates is an immeasurable gift that benefits both me and those I work with. It doesn’t get better than that!
A recent text from a client: “Hi Shandra, I thought I would let you know I am making good progress. Had a breakthrough, thanks to you. Enjoy your weekend! See you Tuesday.”
Whether it’s a pep talk for a group of teenagers or a corporate meeting among busy executives, knowing my audience and determining clients’ intended result is key in providing memorable and impactful moments. With more of a teaching style, I would actually rather be known as a motivation teacher rather than speaker. Giving a talk is one thing, but providing tools and steps for growth and lasting change is where my focus lies – and where I’d like my legacy to live.
