Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round heads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them. But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. ~ Jack Kerouac
Before I’d been up an hour this morning, I’d heard or seen this quote 3 times. Is it an overlying message of where I’m headed in life? Absolutely. I’ve had this quote on my blog for over a year as a purposeful reminder to myself. My mantra, my mission, my motivation. I’ve heard it attributed to both Steve Jobs and Jack Kerouac, so I’m giving them both credit!
It’s why I want a movement of people who love Mondays, am determined to eliminate whiny Wednesdays, and why I figure Saturday’s just as good as any other day to be a life long learner.
I listened to some of the crazy points Robin Sharma shares too. I love his passion for getting things done, doing exceptional in life, but being successful in order to serve. Don’t miss that point when you listen to it, okay? At the end of the video you’ll see the option to watch Part 2 if you’re so inclined.
